Director of Community Engagement, Development, and Operations
Liz Hackett
Liz Hackett (she/her) is tremendously excited to serve Southshire Community School in an administrative role. Liz’s career began in higher education access as a near-peer college advisor in a rural Pennsylvania public high school, working toward building a college-going culture in the school and broader community. Later, she moved to Arizona to continue supporting students in their post-grad plans and to work on a masters degree. Most recently, Liz worked in Admissions and Institutional Advancement at Bennington College, where she found a love for community engagement and philanthropy. Liz graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a degree in Anthropology and Psychology, and from Grand Canyon University with a masters in Health Psychology. Outside of work, Liz loves music, reading, spending time in the garden, hiking, lifting, and crocheting. She lives in Pownal with her chef husband, her two cattle dogs, two cats, a jumping spider, and a dozen chickens.
